Senseless cruelty -- another animal on the south side of Columbus has been intentionally shot with an arrow.  The victim, a dog named Harley, did not survive.  A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for these acts of animal cruelty involving at least two cats and one dog. View story on WBNS10TV.com.  Help victims of animal cruelty and animals in need by donating to the Second Chance fund, which provides extraordinary medical procedures, surgeries, and ongoing medical care for shelter animals.

Cats are Cool in August!  The Capital Area Humane Society has many wonderful cats available for adoption. This is the busiest time of the year for incoming cats to the shelter and we are full of homeless cats in need of a new forever home. Adoption fees for the month of August have been reduced to $30 for adult cats. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped.

What a deal! All of these services at a veterinary office could be more than $200.  View press release.
