The animals arrived safely at the Capital Area Humane Society shelter in Hilliard, OH. Humane Societies and rescue organizations throughout Ohio have stepped forward to assist with sheltering and providing medical treatment for these animals.

The majority of the animals have serious medical/dental needs that require attention prior being placed up for adoption. Individual animals will be placed up for adoption by their sheltering agencies.

Please consider making a donation to the Perry County Humane Society to support their continuing efforts to protect and care for animals in their county. Donations should be sent to the Perry County Humane Society, P.O. Box 105, New Lexington, OH 43764.

To assist with the medical treatment of the dogs rescued from Perry County, the Capital Area Humane Society has set up a special fund.
