Meet the royal Dutches, Fergie 'n Diana! These dainty girls are sisters and best friends. Adopting an already bonded pair can be a great choice for the rabbit lover. It's hard to get rabbits to become friends, but once they're "bonded" they're best friends for life. There's nothing
like watching a pair pal around together--they'll play and cuddle together, groom each other, and even eat off the same lettuce leaf or
parsley sprig! You'll love these fun-loving buns, curious and friendly and gentle. For more information about them, or about having house
rabbits generally, email rabbits@cahs-pets.org.

Chloe and Zoe were part of a large accidental litter. The owner of the mama and papa bunnies (now spayed and neutered!) wanted to keep all the babies, but as they matured it became obvious that she could not provide a good home for so many rabbits. Chloe and Zoe have been together from birth and are now not just sisters but best friends. For that reason they will have to be adopted together. A bonded pair can be the perfect choice for somebody who loves rabbits. It's such fun to watch them play and cuddle. One of their volunteer pals says, "Zoe and Cloe snuggle together and look just like a pair of slippers!!!!" Come meet these sweethearts in Room H. For more information about them, or about having house rabbits generally, email rabbits@cahs-pets.org.

CHARLOTTE
|
CAHS #:

|
|
Sex:
Spayed Female
|
Age:
Adult
|
|
Breed:
Dutch Mix |
|
Charlotte was in bad shape when she was rescued by our humane officers.
She was scrawny, malnourished, and losing her fur. Foster care was a whole new world. Charlotte learned how wonderful it is to be a loved and pampered bunny! She learned to explore and play. She learned she loves fresh veggies—especially celery tops. Charlotte is a sweet and loving girl, her foster dad says. She was decent with her litterbox even before she was spayed, and she didn’t dig carpet or get into other sorts of mischief when she was out of her cage playing. Her favorite place to hang out was over the vent (see picture). Silly bun! "Charlotte is just a doll!" one of her volunteer friends here at the shelter enthused recently. "She cuddled and snuggled with me. She’s a real lover, although she does have a silly playful component to her personality. The little stinker kept untying my shoelaces. I’d tie them up and she’d untie them again!" Charlotte is happy, healthy, spunky, and cuddly! The only remnant of her sad past is a little bare patch on the edge of her left ear.

Sex:
Spayed Female

Age:
Adult

|
Breed:
creme d'argent |

Pretty Leona is checking a fun4bunnies fruit-flavored wood block:
"Yummy--I love banana!" This girl was found at the end of May in a
park in Delaware and was picked up by a Good Sam. Her foster mom says she loves to be petted--she'll hunker down for pats for hours on end!--and loves chew toys, especially cardboard chew toys and the willow baskets made by Busy Bunny. Because she can be startled by sudden movements she might not be the best choice for a home with young children. Leona is a great eater of hay--the most important part of a rabbit's diet--and she has great litterbox habits. For more information about her, or about having a house rabbit generally, email rabbits@cahs-pets.org.

RUDY

CAHS #:
A07786654
|
|
Sex:
Neutered Male
|
Age:
Adult
|
|
Breed:
Dwarf Mix |
|
Rudy got his name because he was a Christmas rabbit. His owner, like so many people who acquire rabbits, didn't realize before she took him home that a rabbit is a high-maintenance pet, just like a dog or cat (if not more so). She brought him to the humane society so that he can find a home with somebody who can give him the love and attention he needs and deserves. Rudy is cute as a button, as you'll see if you visit him in Room H. For more information about him, or about having a house rabbit generally, email rabbits@cahs-pets.org.
