Dog and Puppy Training

The cost for each six-week course is $85 or $70 for animals adopted from Capital Area Humane Society and Capital Area Humane Society Members, or $40 for Capital Area Humane Society volunteers  and staff.  First class is for owners only -- no dogs or puppies please.  Attendance is required.

Please bring:

Current vaccination records from your veterinarian.  Food allergy alert!  Peanut butter is used in class.  Wear casual clothing and athletic shoes.

For dogs under 6 months old
(must be at least 12 weeks old)

Class size is limited; please register early to secure your spot.  Payments are non-refundable.

Bully Breed Education Classes

Part training class, part support group, all  love--our Bully Breed Education Classes welcome pit bulls and their people.   The Bully Breed class beginning June 14 is FULL.  Please email Amanda Spires at Amanda.Spires@gmail.com to be placed on the waiting list for the class beginning in August.  The cost of the class is $25.   Please note:  this class is held at DJ's Feed Store, located at 41 N. One hour workshops for those who have graduated from an approved basic training class.  Fee is $25.
