Kit Kat is just as sweet as his namesake! He's an older cat looking for a home to spend the rest of his days. He can be nervous around new people and situations, so you have to make sure to take it at Kit Kat's pace when you're first meeting him. He did previously live with dogs and children under 10, and did well with them. However, Kit Kat likely has some arthritis in his hips, namely his back legs. Too much or vigorous petting in that area could upset him and cause him pain. This can make him grouchy at times. For this reason, Kit Kat would probably do best with smaller or calmer dogs, and children that are old enough to understand that Kit Kat has boundaries when playing and petting. Or, preferably, as the only pet in a small household. If you're looking for a chill, handsome, kitty to hang out with, come meet Kit Kat! Please call or visit the adoptions office with any questions!
