Check out additional Adoption Info
Starting on Monday, February 5th, Columbus Humane will be under construction!
We will still be open for adoptions and to help clients but things will be a little different. If you are coming to look at our adoptable animals, please park at the side of the building and walk to the back to enter through a set of double doors. You will greeted by a volunteer or staff member, who will show you straight through the hallway into our adoptions atrium. Our adoption hours will remain the same: 2-7pm M-F and 12-5pm Sat and Sun. Thank you for your patience and for bearing with us!
Cecily wants you to know that she has tested positive for FIV - Feline Immunodeficiency Virus - which means that her immune system is weakened and she is more prone to infections and other types of illnesses than she otherwise would be. There is no cure for FIV; however, many cats live for years without ever developing any full-blown disease and enjoy a great quality of life. FIV cannot be spread to humans but it can be spread to other cats via a bite, so Cecily needs to find a home where she is the only cat or where there are only other FIV+ cats in the household. She also needs to strictly be an indoor-only cat. If you have room in your home and heart for a positively AWESOME cat, Cecily just may be the one for you!
